Wilson & Proudman
George Proudman

The Coleorton Pottery in Leicestershire does not feature in many reference books. It was apparently set up late in 1835 and was operated by Wilson & Proudman between 1838 and 1840. Thereafter George Proudman worked on the site for a short period. The main works continued and survived until 1938. Godden lists only Wilson & Proudman with dates 1835-42 but does mention some of their successors. A detailed account of the pottery can be found in Coleorton Pottery 1835-1938 by Samuel T. Stewart.

One relief-moulded jug is recorded by Wilson & Proudman and two by George Proudman, all copies of Staffordshire originals. Others may exist.
